Wordpress themes are design layouts that
are uploaded to your wordpress directory via FTP. Many
call wordpress themes "skins". A WordPress Theme is a
collection of files that work together to produce a
graphical interface for the overall look and design of
your blog or content management site.
A wordpress theme transforms the way your site is
displayed in the browser without changing the installed
software. Wordpress themes can include customized
template files, image files "jpg,
png,gif"
and cascading style sheets "css".
You can easily change the look of your site by uploading
a new wordpress theme and in the admin panel under the
"Design" tab click on the new theme and apply it.
