My Best Friend |
| Today I had to let one of my BEST friends go. I
struggled with it and it was so hard. How I wanted to turn back the
time. He was beside me for over 11 years and was with me through
many of life trials. Without him I would have not made it. Today I
had to be strong, and say good bye. I held him close, as he slept
and he was gone. He may be gone from my life, but his soul will always remain in my heart, until the day we meet again my best friend Reuben, be happy and know that you will always be close to my heart. May the Lord watch over you until we unite and once again share the love and companionship we shared when you were at my side. When my time is up and we unite, we will again be able to play with your favorite stick that you loved so. You are missed more than you will ever know, be good my big boy, I still love you so much. Although my eyes are filled with tears I thank the Lord for the happy years He let you spend down here with me and for your love and loyalty. |
